Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Origroup Ltd. They apply to the oriori app, orioriapp.com, and the grocery, recipe, subscription and delivery services made available through them (the “service”).
Agreement
By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
oriori lets you browse and buy Asian groceries and everyday essentials, add the ingredients for a recipe to your basket, set up a rice subscription, and choose a delivery slot. Products, slots, delivery areas and features can change, and something shown in the app may be unavailable.
Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. The details you give us, including your name, contact details and delivery address, must be accurate. Keep your login details private, and email support@orioriapp.com promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Orders, payment and delivery
Prices and offers are shown before you check out. A contract for an order is formed when we accept it and confirm that in the app. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, we suspect fraud, or we cannot deliver to the address. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled items.
Payment is collected by our third-party payment processors. Their terms apply to the payment as well as these terms. You authorise us and our processors to charge the payment method you provide for your orders, subscription deliveries and any delivery charges shown at checkout.
Delivery windows, including two-hour slots and same-day or next-day options, are estimates. We will tell you about a material delay where we reasonably can. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered. Check your order and contact us promptly if something is missing, damaged or not as described.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subscriptions and promotions
A rice subscription continues on the schedule shown in the app until you pause, skip or cancel it. You can pause, skip or change a delivery in the app before the cut-off shown there. Each subscription delivery that we dispatch is charged to your payment method.
Promotional offers, including an introductory discount, apply only on the conditions shown at the time. Those conditions can include eligibility for new customers, a minimum order value, availability, and one use per customer. We may change or withdraw an offer before it has been used.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- use another person’s account or payment method without permission;
- interfere with the app, the website or the networks they run on;
- attempt to access parts of the service you are not allowed to use;
- copy or scrape the service in a way that degrades it for other customers; or
- use the service for anything unlawful.
Our content
The oriori name, logo, app, website and their content belong to Origroup Ltd. or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app and website to shop with us. You may not copy our brand or content, or use them commercially, without our written permission.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you started using the service. If you use oriori as a consumer, we are not liable for business losses.
Changes and closing your account
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If you keep using the service after the change applies, the updated terms apply to that use. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the service and ask us to close your account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently. You may close your account by emailing support@orioriapp.com. Closing your account does not cancel a delivery that has already been accepted, unless we agree otherwise. How we delete personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
